Tyrone Wood – A former Seal who in response to a request for help reportedly ran a mile to the American facility at Benghazi and fought for over five hours against overwhelming forces until he died of his wounds, abandoned by Obama, Biden, and Clinton.
Glen Doherty – A former Seal who was one of two American body guards to the American Ambassador who fought with Wood for over five hours against overwhelming forces until he died of his wounds, abandoned by Obama, Biden, and Clinton.
Christopher Stevens – The American Ambassador to Libya, killed in the attack in Benghazi.
Sean Smith – A former Seal who was one of two American body guards to Ambassador Stevens and who died with Ambassador Stevens during the attack.
General Carter Hamm – On September 11, 2012, General Hamm was the commander of the American forces in Northern Africa until relieved of his command that evening.
Rear Admiral Charles Gaovette – On September 11, 2012, Rear Admiral Gaovette was the commander of the American fleet stationed in the Middle East until relieved of his command that evening.
David Petreaus – On September 11, 2012, General Petreaus was the Director of the CIA and ordered CIA reinforcements to Benghazi. Those reinforcements were sent from Tripoli. Traveling over land took six hours so they arrived at Benghazi after Wood and Doherty had died. No explanation has ever been given as to why those forces had to travel by land versus aircraft. In October after Petreaus issued a public statement that he had ordered reinforcements, his extramarital affair was made public and Petreaus resigned from the CIA.
